MUGEN -Field- /2004

This work consisted of a reconstructed world map, painted in correction fluid, on the floor of a well lit space. Its ripple-like forms referred to rock gardens and other traditional Japanese expressions, and like landscapes reflected in a mirror or shrouds of mist, this work was about floating phenomena.
Installed in a public space, this work incorporated the very space (environment) that surrounds it.
